grunt work

after months of languishing
doing the rather leisurely work of wrapping and varnishing
I'm back at the grunt work
knocking down nodes for the season's two final rods
pressing should start today
the tedium is downright tantalizing...

so anyways, one of the strips was cut off just above the node
so I snapped a pic of either side of the cut
interesting perhaps...

coming soon...

I'm putting together some hats
design above embroidered on an olive military style cap
(possibly reading "cold beer and ammo" across the back strap cost permitting)

I've got a (blank) sample hat coming soon in the mail
after which I may change to a different hat type or color (likely khaki)
depending upon how well the logo will read and comfort and fit...

I anticipate having the first bunch (24) in hand by may first
currently not sure what the price will be
but I will try to keep it as cheap as possible

poore girls rod bags

these bags can only mean one thing...
dipping is imminent

blue bag is in case dad decides to use one of the rods

continued

the reward of a perfect drive on the hole pictured in the previous post
I was fortunate enough to be to the right where there was an opening

a strong right to left wind made this green nearly impossible to hit

billy in the shit at silver creek

more to follow...

I promised more, right?

first off, I never thought I'd see the day I had ping irons in my bag...

pretty bridge near a golf course in show low
it was too freaky windy to fish silver creek so I passed on that
only to engage on a golf junket
hampered also by the wind but semi-manageable...

less so since I was doing battle w/ my irons and putter all week

set up
picture perfect eh?

takeaway
this one went about 275 right down the middle of the fairway
